A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people,
promptly announces she never did care for pie.  ~Tenneva Jordan

Gifts in a mug are an especially personal way to tell your mom, "Happy Mother's Day!" Nowadays, you can even have your mug personalized with your mother's name, photo, and a special message. A coffee mug is something moms and grandmas can enjoy all year around. Double check to make sure the mug of choice is both microwave and dishwasher safe.

I am a big fan of the French White CorningWare mugs. My CorningWare mugs have never chipped or cracked, and I use them every day. There are many beautifully designed and well crafted mugs out there, so choosing a design may prove the hardest part of this recipe.  Enjoy!
