Chocolate Dessert Nuts
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dutch process cocoa or 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips, chopped fine
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line a small baking sheet with foil and coat the foil with nonstick spray.
- Combine the sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add the pecans, hazelnuts, and oil and toss to coat.
- Spread the nut mixture evenly on the prepared pan and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Cool completely and store in a ziplock bag.
