Chocolate Dessert Nuts

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dutch process cocoa or 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips, chopped fine
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line a small baking sheet with foil and coat the foil with nonstick spray.
  2. Combine the sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add the pecans, hazelnuts, and oil and toss to coat.
  3. Spread the nut mixture evenly on the prepared pan and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Cool completely and store in a ziplock bag.
