Cup of Cinnamon Cappuccino

Cup of Cinnamon Cappuccino
Norman Vincent Peale
Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

Enjoy a steaming hot cup of cinnamon cappuccino this cold Christmas day. As someone who watches every calorie, cappuccinos were diet delisted many years ago. So after a long period of denying myself the pleasure of this intoxicating beverage, I am incredibly excited to put it back on my list of allowable indulgences.

Cinnamon Cappuccino

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup hot, very strong coffee
  • 1/4 teaspoon sifted unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Preparation
1) In a medium nonstick saucepan, bring the milk, vanilla, and cinnamon just to a boil.
2) Remove from the heat and whisk until frothy, about one minute.
3) In a large mug, combine the coffee and the milk mixture. Sprinkle with the cocoa and garnish with the cinnamon stick. Serve.
This is a nice cappuccino to drink in the morning accompanied by Nutella and toast. Its flavor gets richer with every steaming hot sip.
