French Toast

There's nothing more delightful than maple-glazed french toast on a cold wintry morning. The secret behind the recipe is a hint of syrup in the egg wash that subtly infuses the bread with maple. Maple-glazed french toast is a completely stress-free cooking experience and a pure delight to eat.

This edition of Cooking Light (2009) also includes a recipe for Cinnamon-Maple Applesauce that can be spread atop the toast. I am topping my maple-glazed french toast with more maple syrup. Enjoy!
