Apple Shakers {Weight Watchers 1 Point}

Apple Shakers | Becky Cooks Lightly #WeightWatchers #apples
For thanksgiving, I was gifted two bags of red delicious apples. Why two bags? I am a habitual apple eater, and all of my friends know it. Every day at 10:00 AM, I eat an apple. Still, it will be a challenge to eat ten pounds of apples before they go bad.

I sooo love this recipe. This is a great snack to keep you from dropping when you're Christmas shopping.  It is super easy, with only a five minute "prep" time.  If you go by my example, "eat" time is less than 1:36 minutes!

FYI: Pickyourown.org is my to-go to site for apple picking (and keeping) tips. They have tips on everything from how to prevent spoilage to nutrition facts. Handy!

Apple Shakers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Fuji Apple, cored and cubed   (Note: I am substituting Red Delicious)
  • 1 no-calorie sweetener packet
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
1) First, wash, core, and cube the apple. I use an apple corer and divider for this task.
2) Place cubed apple in a sealable plastic bag. Add sweetener and cinnamon.
3) Seal the bag and shake until evenly distributed.
